COOKIES & ANALYTICS
KORU currently runs without optional analytics. This page explains what that means and how a future change would be made visible before it is enabled.
KORU does not load an optional analytics script, set an analytics preference, or measure journeys for site-usage analysis. The Coffee, Holiday, Job, Care, public record, source links, and contribution access work without optional analytics.
This is a deliberate launch-stage choice, not a hidden default.
IF THIS CHANGES
Before KORU enables optional analytics, it will publish the provider, configuration, purpose, lawful basis, retention period, and any relevant transfer information. The choice to allow or refuse it will be visible and optional.
KORU will not use optional analytics to create a personal privacy score or a personal surveillance journey.
PREVIOUS PREFERENCE
If you set an analytics preference during an earlier KORU version, you can clear it here. KORU will continue to keep optional analytics disabled after the page reloads.
Current implementation note: strictly necessary session cookies may be used for authenticated contribution and reviewer access. They are separate from optional analytics and are described in the privacy notice.
